Thanks for joining us at BEONTRA B Academy: Operational Terminal Prediction

At the end of November, we held our first B Academy around Operational Terminal Prediction, hosted by our customer Hamad International Airport in Doha, Qatar.

On the 26th and 27th of November BEONTRA organized (with support from Hamad International Airport) the very first B Academy on the Operational Terminal Prediction use case in Doha, Qatar. As any B Academy it focused on three pillars: user exchange, industry trends and product innovations.

Our attendees travelled half-way around the world to attend, with attendees being JFK IAT T4, Isavia (Keflavik Airport), Oman Airports and of course Hamad International Airport. The mix of type of airports as well as the group size allowed for elevating discussions throughout the days.

Day 1
The first day focused on the use cases for Operational Terminal Prediction at the various airports. We covered three iterative, interactive sessions covering the day of operations, the data sources and the stakeholders/output. In each session every airport got to present their point of view and lively discussions initiated due to this.

Day 2

Day 2 started with a brainstorming session on ideas from the customers regarding product innovations. These were enriched by some ideas coming from BEONTRA as well and afterwards a prioritization session took place. This led to some very interesting insights on the importance of future features, shared by the members of the community. Finally, two features were selected and discussed in detail with the group, with a canvas approach.

The final part of the B Academy was an airport tour, with an explanation of the Smart Airport project at Hamad International Airport, and as well some insights in the amenities and art pieces throughout the airport.
